2/14 - Messenger bird

[Finn will be getting a pink rose with a red ribbon wrapped around it. There is also a box of heart-shaped chocolates. The card is covered in doodles with little things like "Let's try this one!" written under it. The card also reads:]

Happy Valentines Day - Usagi / (^ᆺ^)＼~♥

[JUST SO YOU KNOW..... he really thought this was cute and he's saving the flower, though he missed what kind of holiday this was. Like, why were people giving him things? He's confused but doesn't want to ask and look dumb.]

[Until he starts feeling BAD about it a week later any time he sees the chocolates, so he has to send something small back. With a messenger bird no less. He likes that better than amulets, because it's not him but a paper and a bird.]

[The bird leaves a tiny bundle of wild flowers wrapped in a yellow ribbon and a little hand written note that simply says:]

I'm sorry I don't know what Valentines Day was, but I should have thanked you for it sooner. Please forgive me for being late? Thank you!

That's okay, Finn! Of course I forgive you! You're my friend! I should have explained what Valentines Day is! On my planet, in some of the countries, we celebrate a day to show love for friends, family, and lovers! You give them candy, flowers, little simple gifts, and if it's your lover you might do something romantic like a private dinner or a picnic by the ocean.

It's just a day to remind someone you love them! And since I love my friends, that's why you got chocolate and rose!

[Weirdos. But... now he's wondering if he messed up. He didn't get Rey anything. Or Poe, or any of them. Oh no, what if he should have?]

Is it something that everyone knows about? Like, here too? Like, if I didn't get something for someone do you think they might be upset about it? /(T^T)\

Well, I mean yeah you should (and I do) tell my loves ones that all the time. But Valentines Day is also about confessing your affection! Letting a special someone know how you might feel! It's about celebrating new and current love in your life! Sometimes it needs a special day!

Well, no, probably not? Not even everyone from my own planet knows or celebrate it and you're from a galaxy far far away from mine!

I don't think anyone would be upset with you, but if you're worried, I've got lots of left over chocolate and roses?
