Hey. I know that this is going to be a really dumb idea. But I couldn't just watch and do nothing about it. I didn't want to bring anyone else along. Especially if it doesn't work, no one else needs to die.
It's a pretty big one too. I know that trying to go against this guy isn't a great one. Plus with everything else going on it's dangerous. I'm going to try to use words. That's the only way for this to work, right? If it doesn't work, it would be stupid for others to continue.
Yeah, against Kylo Ren, that's all I'm ever doing with that guy. It's just something that I have to do. I know it's not a good idea. But I have to try something about it.
[His voice is mixed with concern.]
You sound as if you got hurt. I've been climbing mountains for a while, Finn. You'd never make it up here in time. I already see where I need to go.
[There's a small mental image of a man standing up at the top of the cliff with the red glow coming off from the surface.]
If I asked you to continue the cause of the Resistance here, would you? I never asked what you really wanted to do here, Finn. I don't want anyone to do what they don't want.
I'm fine! I'm perfectly fine! Just hold your damn feet and wait! I can try to catch up. I can--[He cuts off as he gets the image there, feeling sick, like he's going to vomit again. It wouldn't be the first time since he woke up.]
What? But that--The Resistance doesn't matter right now! I don't want to do anything here but keep a few people together until we, as a group, figure out how to go home! You can't control that. It's a fact of life that you end up having to do things you don't want to!
You can't just reach out and say 'hey, I'm doing something dumb' with out back up, dummy! [He's going to try and figure out WHERE you are, idiot, and follow. Not that he can get far... or figure out where that is...]
I'm doing it anyway! I'm here. I'm not turning around and going back.
[He may have yelled a little bit in the beginning but his voice grew softer.]
I can't ask you to come risk this then Finn. This is a choice I made on my own. This is a fight that I knew I may not come back from. Yeah, but those things Finn, you can want to do certain things. You just have to take that opportunity when it's there in front of you.
[There's a small sigh.] I might as well tell you instead of you not finding me anywhere for a few days. At least you can say you heard from me. I could have reached out to someone else. But I didn't. I had to tell someone.
[He seemed to pull back in action and thought suddenly at all of that. Dameron, what the hell are you doing?!]
Wait? Because I don't think the Resistance has any place in this right now you're going to tell me to back the hell down? The Resistance doesn't matter right now! I'm going to go to help a friend try not to kill himself! And why do it anyhow? Do you think you have a chance right now? Are you THINKING right now? If you think you're not coming back from this then you wont. You've already resigned yourself not to, idiot! [he might be yelling at him now, whoops] You told someone. And that someone wants to go help! That's my choice, damn it!
I do know that the Resistance doesn't matter right now. There is no need for you to shout! I know that this is not a good idea. But, the reason for it? If they say they're possessed who else can show some appreciation? I am not gonna ask you to do that. I don't think I would be the best choice either. I believe that it's still worth the risk. What would you do if you found out personal information about your enemy? Information that makes you question a lot more than just a Republic senator. My point I'm making is that I have my reasons for it. Maybe I'll tell them to you the next time I see you, Finn.
[It's the smallest growl. He's frustrated, because he's laid up and woke up alone except for Hux. HUX of all people. And now his friend is running off to do something stupid, and he can't find Rey.]
If they say they are possessed, what do you expect when you show some appreciation? A hug? What do you even expect to learn! What are--never mind. Never mind! Kriffing hell!
You don't have to ask me to do anything, I'm telling you I want to go and help you! Odds are better that you wont end up hurt or worse with someone there to help. Why couldn't you have said something sooner?
Damn it, Poe! [If it sounds like or feels like he might be on the move, he is. Or he's trying to be. Like he'll try to find where Poe is. Try to get there. But he has no firm clue, and every move is painful. He's angry though... and very useless feeling.]

6/11 [ text ] [amulet] (we can decide action later...)
It's entertainment. I read a few murder mysteries since I ran into someone who read some here. They have the emotions being used in it. It's pretty interesting to read what a native would write. It helps you learn a few things.
After reading dark things, it's better to read something light hearted. You can't judge a book by it's cover, Finn. You never know what you might find. Mostly in it for the stories. No, I don't read this type a lot. It's something you run into from time to time. There are more graphic ones out there.
Never said I was judging it! Just... getting though it slowly is all. It's... it's been interesting! I'm just not used to things that aren't, uh, technical, I guess?
Good because you should find what works for you next time. Hopefully it's been helpful. The words and the actions and the meaning can be very neat when it reveals itself. I do understand that it's not a manual of some kind or talking about how something works. History is always a good thing to find too. The library has all sorts of books.
It's been interesting, like I said. I might look into a few more things, but... I mean come on. Do people actually act like this? Actually think of people like this? I... I know it's a romance novel and all, but this girl's got a lot of... um... thoughts. Girl's aren't all like this are they?
If they find themselves attractive to that person they can have those thoughts. I would like to think that not all women are like that. Would you believe that a young woman you know would act that way? Alternatively, would you have those thoughts toward someone you liked? It is a romance novel. Not everyone will have the same thoughts. But love, love is tricky. Sometimes it happens unexpectedly. As far as thoughts goes, it depends on the thought. Can you be more specific in what the thoughts are?
No. No, I mean, yeah. I know people have... thoughts, like this. I suppose I have... um, had som--er, but I mean, the whole... thinking about the guy the way she does. Watching him work in the fields and how he looks as he does so, and how he fights for her and stuff. I get that. But it seems like her existence is just to think about him. That's... normal?
We know that women work and do other things. We know that they exist for much better things than just keeping their eyes on a man that they love. Depending on the century they come from, she probably doesn't mind watching him work. She doesn't mind just existing for him. It's what she has at the time. Why not live in that moment of watching a loved one? She never knows when he'll have to fight off again and maybe he won't return. It's a book, Finn. It's not meant to make sense. It's meant for entertainment. They can make sense at times. But fiction, not all the time.
I.. I don't mean to make it sound like I'm trying to relate it to anything. Or... or anything. That's not it. That's ah... yeah, it's fiction. I get that. It's been a good read. I'll have to... find something else to read soon.
I'm only trying to help you understand your questions. Feelings can be really confusing at times. There might ones that can't really be explained. On the bookshelf there's more than just romance novels. You could go to the bookstore yourself and get something that suits your interests.
What? Ah, no. No. I don't... have any feelings like this. Or that need answers or anything. [The text started to grow brighter, a soft green color, and by time it got to the end there were tiny flowers dotting the text in places. Emotions. Right. None of those.]
Are you sure you don't have any feelings? Care to explain the flowers? [Because now he's going to invade your crystal with an image of what he just saw. Look, Finn, you have emotions. It's okay to have them. If you're confused about them, you can ask, he might tell you about them.] Who are you thinking about?
What? No! What Flow--[Thanks for the image. Now he's flailing, not that you can see. Fffffffff] No one. It's no one. I'm not thinking about anyone. And I'm definitely not sitting in a field thinking about her quivering staff and coo'ing over her big strong muscles while staring off at her while she chops wood or something.
You keep forgetting that this place gives away our emotions all the time. [Even his own text glows a bit from amusement.] You may not be sitting in a field of wheat thinking about her. But you are clearly thinking about a young woman with a staff. Her name wouldn't happen to be Rey, would it?
